I think this one was just too hyped up for me… I started it over at 9% (that should have been a sign) because I wasn’t really paying attention. I quickly realized after restarting it that I hadn’t missed much of anything.
Secret societies, magic, ghost things, vampires…? Someone or something eating 💩… All that and I still didn’t get hooked.
This one just didn’t do it for me.
I’ll probably pass on the next book in this series.
