The Locked Door
by Freida McFadden
Two stars solely for the last chapter. I will admit there was a slight twist, but the characters are barely developed, the dialogue is stilted & awkward, and the whole thing reads in monotone somehow. It feels more like a short story written for a high school creative writing class than anything.
