Intense. Captivating. Action packed. Suspenseful. Addicting. Steamy. Intense. Raiden is all of that and more! The moment I started reading this book I was completely hooked and couldn’t put it down. I had to know what was going to happen next and was on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Scottie is an ex-DEA agent and is now working at WI. There is a lot more to her story than I was expecting, but it just made me like her more. She is a BA, she is strong, a survivor, a fighter and can hold her own. Raiden is strong, demanding, an alpha through and through. The moment Scottie and Raiden meet there is chemistry and they are drawn to each other.

This story is intense and I LOVED every single moment of it. I loved the chemistry between Scottie and Raiden. They are both strong characters, however, they really balance each other out. While there are many intense moments in this story, there was also romance and some lighter moments to balance everything out.

This can be read as a standalone, but I’d HIGHLY recommend to reading Acer first. It helps with some of Acer’s backstory, but also with the overall plot of Raiden. I am DYING to get my hands on Cruze’s book next!
