mj_reads 's review for:
Saga, Vol. 6
by Brian K. Vaughan
WHAT THE HECK THIS ONE WAS PROBABLY MY FAVORITE OF THE SERIES SO FAR.
The time jump did wonders to prevent this story from dragging out or getting repetitive. I thought that I would be more disappointed in the things I'd miss, but ultimately I think it added a lot to the story and helped the characters grow. Plus I think it just peaked my interest in a "where are they now?" sense.
The artwork was bright and even more beautiful than the previous volumes! I liked the introduction of new characters, they added so much fun to the story. The return of some of my faves was equally exciting (although I missed Sophie and Lying Cat who were the shining stars of vol 5 IMO).
This was just really good. Like really good/everything I wanted. I almost don't want to continue because this ending was so satisfying and I don't want to be destroyed by the rest but ALSO i need to know what happens so yeah.
