I've loved this series and was so anxious to read the last book. The themes are so well-woven into Essun's story.
This book became a bit too jargon-filled that I sometimes had a hard time following the audiobook, especially in Hoa's past timeline.
There is also the feeling that they could've easily gives us 100 pages more to really give Essun and Nassun more time together before the ending, it all happened too fast for me considering we've been following Essun's journey for so long
