packed full with action, adventure, fights and all kinds of entertaining things.
this entire book was a pretty wild ride.
a little too wild for me with how short of a book it was for everything that happened and how a many things were mentioned but never explained and those started to pile up at the end of the books.
i did. like the characters, i loved how the relationships deviled, how the entire Inn as a character but also it’s guests and hired people in it worked together in this one.
the writing is great and all the worlds and alien/creatures introduced in this were really interesting … but i do wish we would get a bit more explanations and not just a really quick overview like explanation every now and again.
i want to really understand how those Inns are connected and work with their Innkeepers. How that came to be and how it all works throughout the entire galaxies and with all those different species and creatures.
i would love a better explanation on which species can work together in all levels -including reproduction- since we did learn that vampire/human can create a kid together in this. so what other species can do that? not in the “i want to read the erotica of that” but in the “how does that work genetically?” kind of way. How did all those other species learn to space travel and maneuver the galaxies?! And how come werewolves and vampires seem to similar to humans? is that because of cross-breading or was that just how the happened to evolved and that’s the reason that those species can be found more often on earth because they easily blend in?!
I want clear answers!!
but i am aware that not every reader thinks that way and many are just very much satisfied with how this is written.
and i understand that too because it is a very well written series.
i just wish i would have a better understanding of how this entire setup works especially since this is book 3 and while i like getting those little nuggets of informations handed out in each book to create a bigger picture, i would love to at least get some kind of explanation of some thing -anything!- just straight up.
it was a fun and entertaining read and left in a nice little cliffhanger.
and i do recommend it highly!
just maybe if you are also a reader that’s always questioning everything? be prepared to either never get a straight answer or read though a few books to get them (hopefully) at some point!
