Wow. You worry when your favorite author starts publishing more books, more often. You worry they won't be as thoughtful as the early ones. The latest Backman will not disappoint. It is every bit as poignant as his others, with all of the hockey goodness of Beartown. This book was dark and ominous, at times I couldn't make myself turn the pages for fear something terrible would happen. No spoilers, just don't be afraid to keep reading. Trust Frederick Backman to be worth it.
