Even though I didn't love The Worst Best Man, another novel by Sosa, I decided I would give her writing a second chance. I am not sure what it is about her male characters, but I just find them all super cringey. Dean, the male protagonist in this book, is boring and has pretty skewed priorities. Once again, the female protagonist outshines her love interest and is way too good for the guy Sosa created for her. I will probably avoid future novels from this author because I just don't like how she writes her male characters.
