Overall it was a nice mystery, with interesting characters and a lovely small town feeling to it.

The podcast reminded me a lot about "Radio Silence" though, even the name of it, "Radio Silent" was too close to Oseman's book not to miss. Also the whole "weed is good" paragraph at some point felt a bit forced, like we like the character anyway, we don't need to be told that the fact they do weed recreationally is completely normal, it felt a bit forced tbh. Would it be nice to talk about the medicinal benefits of cannabis? Yes. Was that what the author was talking about? No.
