What a wonderful start to a new series! The magic is awesome, and I love that there is magic everywhere but hidden. I enjoyed getting to know Leopold and I think I love Isabel. There is also something so special about Emmet and the friendship he has with Leopold. Richter is an awful asshole and I hate him. The characters are all fantastic! Also, can I be best friends with Norm please? The story was so engaging, that when I got to the end, I was shocked and disappointed (in a good way). There is so much to be clarified, so many questions, and so much I'm looking forward to finding out in the next book(s).
