House of Ash and Shadow by Leia Stone

adventurous emotional funny lighthearted mysterious relaxing sad tense fast-paced

Seventeen-year-old Fallon Bane was born with a curse: a single touch from another person will always cause her excruciating pain. Until she meet Ariyon who for some reasons doesnt cause her pain when touching her...

I have positive things to say but also negative things, but because of these negative things i enjoyed it๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

The book is cringe, juvenile, written like 2nd grade level. But because of all that i kind of liked it too!? I really love the plot! Its different from most books i have read recently and it read through pretty quick!

For someone who wants to start into fantasy this would be a very nice read! Especially if english isn't your first language this would be nice!

The book is very rushed, it would have been nice to have more details in this book! The enemies to lovers trope has been tried but mind you this is not your average good enemies to lovers slow burn๐Ÿ˜…

But, i honestly do love Ariyon, you can say what you want. I love that man๐Ÿ˜‚ am i reading book 2 right now because the cliffhanger of the first book got me screaming? Yes, yes i am! Because even though this book is cringy and not the greatest writing style im still curious to the end of the series and want to know what happens between Ariyon and Fallon. Maybe it gets better in the coming 2 books!

Overal its an alright book. Would i reread it? I might if i need a quick paced book to get me out of my reading slump
