medium-paced
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’ve been going back and forth with which of Brynzda’s crime thrillers series I enjoy more and I think this book solidified it for Erika Foster. This was a very enjoyable read and you can’t help but feel for Erika at the end with how the case resolved and the fallout from it.
This book was less of a mystery than the first; the audience is aware of the killer and the motives but it didn’t take away my enjoyment even though I do prefer a mystery. Very good; excited to pick up the next book to see what happens with Erika
