Sad to say, but I just didn't care about this book very much. The first book was ok, and I picked up the second eventually. I think the audiobook didn't work well for me, but it just lacked something for me and the pacing was hard for me to get through. I think it was a little angstier than I wanted, the stakes didn't feel very real, and I wanted more about the world because the quest just really didn't hold my interest much. 2.5 stars
