White Pawn by Ingrid Seymour
2.0

There are not enough eye roles for this book. I am DNFing 30 minutes into the 160 minute audiobook. The city is divided into white and black like a chess board. The queen rules one color and the king rules the other. And then you have our main character who it turns out is not only broke, but is a special person who tastes like candy to vampires. She was just so insipid, I could not take it any longer. Speeding up the reader only made it worse.
