This was a tough book, but I’m so glad that it exists, especially as YA nonfiction. The stories about the Dozier school were hidden for so long and our kids need to hear what had happened to kids like them and how to use their voice. Author does a great job explaining scientific comments with patronizing or sugar coating details. Big TWs for physical and sexual abuse. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #netgalley
