This story was delightful! I think it's the first book I've read that explicitly depicts a queerplatonic relationship, and treats platonic relationships and platonic love as equal in importance and value to romantic love and relationships.

I had a great time reading this book. The interactions between the main characters were so sweet, and the relationship negotiations were realistic and lovely. It was great to see discussions about how queerplatonic relationships are just as much as a commitment as romantic ones, as that's often a big misunderstanding even within the community.

I've had my eye on this author for a long time, and I think this story was a great starting point for me, and I'll definitely be picking up more of their books in the future!
