ok the more I think about this, the more I realize I need to lower my rating from a 4 to a 3.5. yes, I read it all in one day, BUT... the plot kind of pissed me off?

I HATE what the author did with the love triangle, I was hoping for it to go into a completely different direction (why choose), but I honestly think they fucked it all up.

I'll read book 3, but I won't buy it. I don't think I'm going to keep my copies of books 1 & 2. 

I also don't understand how they are "primordial" kings but have only been around since the 1500's.
