I didn’t really like this one. How to explain it… It’s like… The idea was there, but the execution didn’t work for me. I felt no emotional connection to either character, and I still don’t really understand why they’re together. The last 15% of the book was much better and I wished that emotional side would have been more present throughout. And to be honest, the authors note at the start was just too much. It gave expectations it didn’t deliver on for me.
