I flip flopped on this book so much. At times I loved it, at times Luc and Oliver drove me mad. I also felt that at times the humour was overly forced and things were said for humour’s sake.
Still, this is a cute book and there were some cute moments, some amusing moments, and some laugh out loud moments.
I loved the ensemble cast. Bridget, Luc’s mother, Oliver’s friends were great. I loved them to bits.
But some times it all felt a bit manufactured and lost a little bit for me.
Still, this is a good, light hearted read. Give it a go if Rom coms are your thing.
