This book was alright. I honestly wasn't hooked until about 70% in, because it seemed to be all pretty writing and felt very slow. But everything unfolded really quickly and twisty-turny after that! Kang's writing is obviously beautiful, but this one doesn't feel quite as good as her other works (I believe this was her first book?). Either way, it was a good mystery with a disturbing twist and a somewhat(ish) satisfying ending.
