Requiem by Lauren Oliver

That's it?
Oh my god.

First of all the 4 stars go to the book, the story and everything in general. I haven't really enjoyed the Hana part, only a few chapters seemed interesting enought but that was it.

The Lena story part was amazing. I loved how the story turned and I loved how much she has changed. The love triangle between her and Julian and Alex wasn't as bad as expected but still I have one problem if it comes to the ending.

The most interesting part happened at the end anyway. People died. People found to each other, people saved each other. People fought.

Now the spoilers....

I don't really know what to say about Raven's death. It just didn't feel right but I guess it wouldn't feel much more right if no one died.

When Hana and Lena meet, I was mad at Hana ... I couldn't really read her chapters after I read that she was the one telling on Lena and Alex. I knew that Hana would (probably) save Lena. I also knew that Hana was going to leave Fred behind. But what happened after that to her?

Gracie. Oh Gracie. I AM REALLY happy that Lena ONLY saved Grace. It felt soooo right and I'm happy that Lena has found her and they have each other.

The story of Solomon. And Alex. And Julian.
I was Team Alex and even though I knew back then while reading Pandemonium that Julian will be Lena's new love interest, I was hoping that Alex would show up and get her back.
And now the question is ... Did he?
Who knows? Because we don't.

Don't take me wrong. I like Julian, he's full of goodness, but I just like the relationship between Alex and Lena better.
What did make me angry was that there was no bonding between Julian and Lena anymore. And all of sudden, Lena decided that she could never love Julian as much as she loves Alex. Yay! Good for us, the Alex lovers, but I still don't like the way she started to act around Julian (even though I knew that that's meaning it's Alex time) However, in the end, we don't get anything. A brief kiss between Alex and Lena and a wall which's falling.

We don't know what will happen to Hana.
We don't know what happens to Julian and Lena.
Or to Alex and Lena.
We don't know what happens to the uncureds one and cureds one.

We know that Alex kissed Lena, and she went off to make a wall fall.

That's it.

And I love the ending as much as I hate it.

That's why the book gets 4 stars.
