This book was going to be 4 stars, but the last 20% got a little too convoluted and complicated. The resolution wasn’t very satisfying, it was sad. I’d like to continue reading this series, but I hope the next book isn’t quite so dark. I did enjoy the main character, Cork O’Connor, and the setting.
