Mae Jemison by Maria Isabel Sánchez Vegara
4.0
informative medium-paced

May Jemison was the first black female astronaut for the US. When she was younger, she was told her dreams were too hard to attain, and she decided to prove everyone wrong. She was a star student, a medical doctor, and eventually an astronaut. She continues to help others achieve their dreams now that she saw some of hers. I love that this book shows how important education is, and that you can do and be anything no matter who you start out as in life.
