As always I am a true fan of Karin Slaughter! For years I have been looking for another thriller author to describe scenes and elicit emotions like Dee Davis. In this book Charlie intrigued me the most because although she wasn’t feeling well before she took on Flora’s case, she still interviewed the families to seek the truth. Although Charlie’s family is complicated and so is her life, she still worries and aims for justice. It says a lot about who she is than what she does.

In typical Karin Slaughter fashion, right when you think you figured out who is manipulating who, she tricks you, and it is the person you least expected.

I just wish the book was longer.
