This is the royal edition of Bachelor, which was clear from the synopsis. I loved the story, flaws and all, even though it's cliche, cringy and annoying at times.
Her name is the first thing that's truly annoying, America Singer? Really? The author couldn't find any other name that's less cringy? Unfortunately, I get the story behind it that doesn't change the fact it's cringy as hell.
She's also a "not like the other girls" type of girl. She doesn't want to be called gorgeous and strives to be different than everyone else. "I'm only here for the food," Really? You're in a humongous castle, filled to the brim with everything you could desire, including the prince, and you just want the food?
I loved the story, hated her name, and loathed Aspen.
