The Malachi Covenant
by Dee Kelly Jr.
The publisher provided me with this book in exchange for my honest review. I was told it was similar to Dan Brown, so I accepted because many years ago I loved Dan Brown and have a weird love of religious, historical fiction.
Anyway, I really enjoyed this book. The two main characters, Maggie and Malachi were very likable. I wish they'd spent more time together because I think more could have been explored in their relationship.
I think the story overall with regards to Saint Nicholas (who we know as Santa Claus) was interesting and well-researched, although I have no idea if any of it is true, but it was a good story nonetheless. The main reason I didn't rate this five stars was the ending. I didn't get it. I was left wanting more and needed more to understand the concept of what just happened.
However, that being said, I would recommend this book to lovers of Dan Brown. It was a nice change from my usual psychological thrillers.
