I can tell this is going to be a series where I love the supporting cast more than the actual heroine. And that's okay. Laurell K Hamilton has made a ton of money off me because while Anita Blake can be hella annoying, I'm invested. I can tell that this series is going to be similar.

Nicki, Brody, The Devil, Dixie, them my people. I even like the Magician.... at times.. But he plays too much. He's like that hot guy in high school that has light eyes and a dimple and thinks he can smash any chick he wants. That's the vibe he gives off with Sara.
