I read this for the ultimate reading challenge, July book - a book made into a movie.

I’ve heard such great things about this book, about this series, but I’m sorry to say that it didn’t really live up to the hype. For me it’s WAY too similar to an other famous grey trilogy. So many times something new would be revealed about Colton and all I could think of was Christian.
I also found the writing style to be a little stilted, the use of contractions was a big thing for me. Also, and this is odd I admit, but the excuse of exclamation marks bothered me as well.
I think I’ll get the second book, if only to skim through it so I get an idea with what happens, but I won’t be continuing with the series.
