This was an okay book. I liked the Bishop family, but Evan took a while to grow on me. To be honest, I was kind of ambivalent about Emily, she’s neither here nor there.
The main problem I had with this book was that the everyday action, the in-between romance-y bits were so incredibly rushed. They felt like a list. This happened then this happened then this happened and then we take a breath when the couple is together. It really hindered my reading experience.
So, this was an okay book as I said. I like the supporting characters but won’t continue on in the series.
