I really liked the first book in this series but I loved this one even more. The author is one of those rarities that gets better with each book and I just adored Lulu and Rafe. The banter here was soo good, Lulu is such a little spitfire so their exchanges were funny and cute. Fake dating was the first trope I was ever obsessed with so naturally I loved that aspect here, add in some hate to love and small town sweetness and everything about this was perfect for me. We even got some great appearances from past characters, I was thrilled seeing Beefcake again as well as the rest of the Magnolia Falls gang. If you’re a small town fan and haven’t tried Laura Pavlov’s books yet what are you waiting for?! She’s the best!
