Don’t ever mix juju with technology. There is witchcraft in science and a science to witchcraft. Both will conspire against you eventually.
this author and i… we just can not find a way to work.
i love the ideas this author has!
they are unique and different and could be fantastic.
But for me there is always something missing or lacking or just generally not working.
in this story i once again loved the idea - mixing technology and magic in a way that could either be supernatural or just advance technology? fascinating!
characters losing sight of why it all start? always interesting!
but the actual story was just not enough in many ways but at the same time also just enough without overdoing it. which is as confusing as am currently feeling about this.
the switch between the three characters shortened learning about what’s actually going on but at the same time gave a view into what each character felt or experienced.
the story length was good but also the ending felt like the author just stopped writing because something came up and never came back to it.
in other words, it’s too sprint and too open and to much of a question of what’s happening and where it’s going and what the entire thing was even about with that ending.
all in all?
i love the idea and if your interested and enjoy this author? fantastic go for it!
if your similar to me and want to like this author but there is just always something missing in too big ways for me to be able to ignore it.
but i know a lot of readers love this author and their unique style.
