I'm excited to get to know more about Jackson. Up until now, if you've read the Winston Brothers series, we are only shown Jackson from the Winston's perspective. However, there is more to his personality than what they see. We get to see a more romantic and nuanced version of him here. Rae is also an interesting female lead with emotional barriers that give her trouble being vulnerable. This is a great intro to the upcoming book and I'm looking forward to reading the novel.
