this rating hurts my heart. the plot of this book was so interesting and different, some things I did see coming but that doesn’t bother me. the characters were so interesting and the relationships that they built were beautiful and powerful. the world we are introduced to is innovative and interesting. the one thing that killed this for me was the dialouge. for some reason the way the conversations were written really didn’t mesh with me and kind of took me out of the story. everything else was so good but the dialogue was so not for me that it kinda ruined everything else for me 😭😩
