Loved getting some one on one time with Vero!!

This was a fun little mystery, but did make me wonder if the Vero we’ve come to know and love is all thanks to her dynamic with Finlay?? Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed her character in this, but she was missing some of that “take no shit” attitude.

A fun novella, regardless, to tide us over until the next book release.
