The story focuses on 3 women, May, Lauren, and Kelsey, who have been friends since childhood. They decide to take a trip to the Hamptons to reunite since being “canceled”. The weekend is full of fun and sunshine, until a harmless prank lands them in the middle of a missing person’s turned murder investigation.
As the story continues, secrets buried deep start to be unearthed by the 3 of them, testing their friendship.
I read this book in 2 days after attending Lindenhurst Public Library Local Author Night, where Alafair Burke was in attendance. I loved this book. It was a fun read, full of tension and surprises (though I guessed the twist). I can’t wait to read what else Alafair Burke has written!
