Fears and Scars by Emily Krat

ARC received for an honest review

Fear and Scars starts up where Flawed and Damaged ended, so you will need to read it first.

I am not going to lie, it has been a while since I read Flawed and Damaged, and I read so much I couldn't remember what the series was about. But a quick read of my review and I was back on track (sorry Emily!)

"People say the beauty of life is its unpredicatabiliy. I mean, we never know what's coming next. We plan, we wish, we dream, but we can't really predict anything. Everything can change at any moment."

I fell in love with Liz and Ryan in Flawed and Damaged, and was happy to get the completion of their story.

I should have known that there wouldn't be all hearts and flowers for Liz and Ryan. After what they have already been through, I knew that things would not be easy for them.

It was a case of rinse. lather. repeat for a while with Ryan, and this frustrated me. I could understand why he did what he did, but I couldn't understand why such a smart guy would think it would be a different result each and every time!

But other than that, what a guy!

I fell in love with Ryan and Liz all over again as they - eventually - got back on track.

Fear and Scars is full of suspense, tears, love. I laughed, I loved, I shed a tear or two.

This is the conclusion of Liz and Ryan's story, but I sure would like to get more of Mark and Nina in the future.
