I was mainly looking for Borderline H, so wasn't disappointed in that. 6 chapters only but some kinda make-out in every chapter.
The main couple is a bit... icky... but the side couple(s) is/are... interesting.
The toxic characters and the attempt on a storyline was rather a "meh" for me, but the plus is that the characters actually acknowledge their own toxicity and don't play it down. There's no character development. They're basically just like, "wow, I'm so toxic... but now I already started this mess, so might as well keep going."
And I mean... why not? I wouldn't want to read through that trope for 3+ books, but 1 volume is perfectly fine.
Didn't like Yuni's backstory with her girlfriend much, but other than that... why not. Can recommend for a quickie.
Don't take the tropes in there too serious, though, and just see it as a piece of fiction. Just a fragment of an author's imagination. Nothing to apply onto real life.
