I know it's only February, but this is the best book I've read all year. I was engrossed in the story, constantly wondering what would come next. The characters were so beautifully developed. Tayari Jones created this story in a way that drew me close to everyone involved and had me rooting for each one of them. I was imagining every facial expression made, every gesture, every inflection was made clear. The ending was everything I wanted it to be, and that caught me off guard! I really loved how thought provoking this book was, and I've continued to think on it even after finishing.
