LOVED this one. The arcs of character development are magnificent. I had read reviews beforehand that described the book as too slow. I had the opposite experience. So much happens in this one. I enjoyed it way more than the first book. There isn’t a character I am not attached to. But of course the one I feel fondest towards: Hoa.
