The highest I can give this is 1.5 stars. I know this is a classic and it's meant to be thought-provoking, but it's not for me. I read this for school and didn't like a page of it.

There was no real plot. In my eyes, book one is info-dumping, book two is rebellious sex, and book three is physical and psychological torture. That's it. None of the characters were likable, and the pacing was horribly slow. I can appreciate the concept of this book, and that it's this way because it was written so long ago, but nothing more. And the ending felt like it made the whole story pointless. Everything happened for that? No. Just no.

So yeah. I couldn't stand this book. At least now I have time for ACOWAR. :)
