Eoin Colfer is pretty much amazing. Every book is a joy to read, and I love how this one brought in realistic aspects of early airplanes. Watching Conor grow, from an infant in a balloon to a fierce protector is amazing. I love his sense of self, I love his dream, and I even love the hard lessons he had to learn because they ring so true. I can't believe it took me so long to get around to reading this.
