Melogno's case is an complex and unfortunate one, highlighting rampant issues in the Argentinian criminal justice and mental health systems. Melogno's perspectives on religion prompt further consideration. Looking past someone's crimes to see them as they are is hard to do, and I am somewhat unsettled by the amount I related to Melogno. His is a complicated story.
