Wow! I grew up watching Carrie so many times... it was one of the first scary movies I ever remember watching. I thought reading this book would be boring because of the movie, remake, reboot-sequel, etc. I was WRONG! The way King writes this tale we all know is wonderful. and the format is genius... the novel has interviews, newspaper clippings, book articles, etc sprinkled throughout that help tell this story. if anything, reading this helps me even further understand Carrie White and my heart breaks for her even more. may she RIP.
