In Between
by Andi Jaxon
This story….it is honestly hard to find the words to say. From the first page until the last page it takes you on an emotional, heartbreaking, yet beautiful story. You can’t help but fall in love with Mary, Dylan and Julian.
Mary, Dylan, and Julian are all broken and lost in their own way. They are misfits, yet they form a bond with each other. Even though the small town and most of their families are completely against them being together. Everyone warns them to stay away for each other, yet they are all drawn to each other and really need each other for support.
I love the bond that they all have together as the three of them, but also their individual connections with each other. It was so beautiful to read and see them all grow with the help and support of each other.
Julian’s family was a shinning spot throughout all of this. I love that they didn’t let anyone get to them, they let the group be together with no questions asked and offered all their love and support from the beginning. They were truly the parents that they all needed while going through all of this.
This story can be hard to read at times and I would recommend checking out the trigger warnings because this book does deal with a lot of topics that can be difficult to read. They were all handled with grace and really give you that insight to the harsh reality that these things are still going on in the world today.
If you’re looking for an angsty, small town, interracial, MMF romance this is one to check out.
