Bloody, Broken Fate
by Hazel Jonas
Blood, Broken Fate by Hazel Jonas. It has been a while since I read a good vampire dark romance, and this book had me hooked. So much so that I kept checking to see how much I had left, secretly hoping I was nowhere near the end. The story centers around Zeno and Raquel, who first encounter each other when Raquel rescues Zeno from over 20 years of captivity. Little did they both know that their fate had already been written. That being said, I loved the character growth of Zeno in this story, not overshadowing the walls that Raquel has of her own. The writing style is smooth, and the author transitions timelines with ease. As always, we have to rate the spice, which I give a good 4.5 stars. I cannot wait until the next installment of this book comes out, and I would definitely recommend adding this to your TBR.
