I really enjoyed this sequel! It was fast paced with many twists and turns and it built off the first book really nicely. 

The character development was very interesting and realistic, and Lyra's writing skills were really shown in the way she writes characters and doesnt reveal everything to the reader even though she easily could. 

Overall I definitely recommend this series!
