This author seems to be hit or miss. I’ve read a few that I’ve loved but this one was a bit of a miss for me. It didn’t pack the suspense that her thrillers usually do. I found Eve annoying and her actions seemed a bit odd. The blurb also exaggerated the risk to her child. The story dragged in the middle and then it seemed to wrap up in one chapter. However, I was intrigued by what had happened to Philippa and the twist was interesting. I received a copy of the ebook via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review
