The Seven Year Slip
by Ashley Poston
forgot to say but i finished this, 4/5! it was such a rainy season comfy book. probably one of the few books that i adored every single character. the thing that i love the most is the process of each characters changes, and how they embraced their own changes. it made me learn that change is, indeed, scary, but once you accept that change, it would be the best feeling you'll ever experience. it was really a relatable book. the only think that i was 'meh' about was the writing style. it really feels foreign to me. and it's really hard to not read and just imagine the story. do you guys have that moment where at times, it feels like you're in the story, but because of one word or one sentence, you're back at just reading it? that's what it felt. nevertheless, it was a journey and i would reread this soon. really.
