Beautifully written, but I was not prepared for this. I thought I was in store for a heartbreaking romance of lovers lost in time. This is not the case. This is very much a sci-fi book. I found the first half to be disjointed and hard to follow, and I was disappointed by the ending. I think this is a great book for certain people, but I'm not one of them.
