Fire Force Vol. 2
by Atsushi Ohkubo
This series continues to impress me.
Now that we have all our main heroes we begin to break down what their goals and dreams are. This picks up where the last one left off and a villain is calling out Shinra on the death of his mother and brother. Then, if that wasn't insane enough, we get a look at a Firefighter who had killed people and put on trail. But what happens when he becomes a monster himself? Who is Company 5 and why are they so evil? Why is Arthur so fucking stupid? It all comes down to this explosive second volume!
This is a goddamn blast. From the balls to walls fights, to Shinra being a complete badass, to the hidden mystery, and great world building, this is how a Shonen is done right. The art flows well to make sure can follow the fights and all the characters are interesting. I still think the fan service is a bit much though and very unneeded.
Overall, a blast. A 4 out of 5 easy and this series is a ton of fun!
